Tahitian Hideaway, Rande's Shack ~ Huahine, Tahiti

This outer island Tahitian hideaway is a true gem of the South Pacific. Far away from the crowds of Bora Bora, a visit to Rande’s Shack will give you the true feel of French Polynesia. One of two rental houses on the property, this 1 bedroom 1 bath house has a living room/dining room, private patio and is situated in a beautiful garden setting about 200 meters from the water. The home includes all cooking utensils that you need to cook with and is clean, comfortable, well-equipped, securely screened and covered to protect from the tropical rains and wind.

Days spent in Tahiti are best spent outdoors, and our guests will most likely spend more time hanging at the edge of the lagoon in Rande’s beach front “shack” than inside. The “shack” is complete with a hammock, BBQ facilities, sitting area with views of the neighboring islands, sunsets and reef passes. The grounds and lush gardens of this beachfront property are well maintained by Rande and his wife Emere who reside on the property.

There are plenty of local adventures including exploring the most extensive ancient ruins in French Polynesia, snorkeling in the lagoon, scuba diving and shark feeding, off-shore fishing and surfing the reef passes if you’re lucky enough to be there on the right swell.
